Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained within a 70,000 gallon vertical tank. The tank is cleaned three times a week and 50% water changes are required once every other week. The tank should be left barren with only a wooden Tyto javanica1 in the tank with SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-1 should not be consumed by any foundation personnel in the facility. Due to the effects of SCP-XXXX-1 on the consumer, any personnel who consume it must report to Site medical staff immediately for examination and possible termination.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a member of the Cyanea2 family. SCP-XXXX is .6 meters across its bell and 2.74 meters in length. SCP-XXXX has a purple hue that transitions into turquoise at its tendrils producing a luminous effect on the tank. All information fed to SCP-XXXX is deleted from the Noosphere.

SCP-XXXX produces an orange ink like substance, labeled SCP-XXXX-1. It produces violent side effects on the consumer often starting by weeping, screaming, and becoming unconscious. After 30 minutes to 2 hours these effects will wear off, and the consumer will gain ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓.

Closing Statement: A questionnaire was given to all participants, all answered similarly. Results concluded they had no recollection of the short story and had no idea what they were doing there. Memories of reading the story had been replaced with what is described as “Television Static.”
