Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard Humanoid Containment cell, with the exception of the removal of windows and as little light as possible. It is to be fed once a day, by casting the shadow of a whole chicken over it for consumption.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient shadow creature, which takes the form of a human. It was first captured by MTF Mu-13‘Ghostbusters’, on ██/██/█████ after a sudden epidemic of psychological disorders and chronic fears of the dark and shadows appeared in █████████, Alaska. It shows no signs of intelligence It is able to consume object of its choosing by having its shadow cast over it, and is capable of basic communication by consuming parts of substances to appear as letters or glyphs. Light can be used as a deterrent, as SCP-XXXX appears to have an aversion to it. It demonstrates the ability to learn, and researchers are currently attempting to teach it complex English. It has grasped basic English and is able to communicate in sentences.
