Item #: XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Buildings in the vicinity of SCP-XXXX should be acquired by the Foundation and converted into storage space. In order to prevent inquiry of the high number of personnel required to research and catalog SCP-XXXX, a subterranean network of passageways is to be constructed to allow for efficient and covert access into the building.

Any item originating from SCP-XXXX is to be checked for contaminates and then sent to it's respective cataloging station where it is then to be documented, scanned, and archived (or if necessary, incinerated).

Any civilians who witness ongoing Foundation operations in and around SCP-XXXX should be given Class B Amnestic treatment and should be reintroduced following standard protocol. Members of any type 2 publication source or greater should be reintroduced via protocol β.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a deserted office building discovered in 2003 and located in Columbus, Georgia. The building is believed to have been constructed in the 1950s, but no official permits, blueprints, or any other documentation have been found.

SCP-XXXX is filled with extensive amounts of paper records including letters, receipts, corporate documents, and other such items. When not in eye contact with a room, SCP-XXXX would generate papers and office supplies if the room was not filled.

Thus far, no single reference found in any of the documents has been identified. The most prominent cooperation to appear in documents inside SCP-XXXX is Amaranthine, which is described as an accounting or management company. According to the documents inside SCP-XXXX, Amaranthine was founded in October of 1982 and had anywhere between 50 to 200 employees. Attached are various documents that have been digitized.

Further research into Amaranthine using the documents found inside SCP-XXXX revealed that they were bought a foreign corporation (notable documents include XXXX-692 and XXXX-994). Currently, the foreign corporation remains unidentified.

Addendum: Building Survey (2003)
Attached is a transcript of the building survey conducted by Mobile Task Force Psi-7.

SCP-XXXX | FLOOR -1
Psi 7-9 (Anomalous Classification Expert)'s auditory note log.

00.00 - Psi-7 log, basement level. There's stairs to an access door which we believe goes to the basement. Going in now.

00.07 - Just picked the lock. Entryway seems stable. 7-2 is on point.

00.19 - We've cleared the room, two doors on the left side that we're heading to now.

00.35 - Alright, basement level secure. Let's see what we got here.

00.38 - Dingy basement. There's some concrete bricks, a steel rod. Some graffiti on floor in black. Infinity symbol. Very spooky. I have no conclusion for this place as of this note.

00.49 - We're laying the semtex in case this place needs to go.

SCP-XXXX | FLOOR 0/G
Psi 7-9 (Anomalous Classification Expert)'s auditory note log.

00.00 - Psi-7 log, ground level. We're breaching the lobby. Basement team is ready to go and I just joined the outdoor team.

00.19 - We're inside. Looks abandoned, but we've yet to confirm that.

00.52 - Alright. Floor zero is empty, Psi-7 is going up the stairwell, and i'm about to make my rounds.

01.03 - Lobby entrance: worn desk, chairs falling over, nobody's been here a while. There's a hallway perpendicular to the lobby doors, both stuffed with these cardboard boxes. Had to make a passageway for the tactical team so they could get to the stairwell.

02.26 - Just had a quick look through some of the boxes. Papers, mostly. A stapler or two. I can't make heads or tales of any of this paperwork. But by the fact the hallways are blocked, i'd say it's a safe bet something's up.

02.58 - They cleared the second floor so i'm moving up there.

SCP-XXXX | FLOOR 1
Psi 7-9 (Anomalous Classification Expert)'s auditory note log.

00.00 - Psi-7 log, second floor. I was not joking about these boxes. There's probably enough here to fill a football field.

00.39 - I've opened a box and its pretty much more of the same. Lots and lots of paper. I'll go see if I can find something more substantial.

03.01 - Alright. Nothing new, rather something interesting. Lots of these papers mention this company- let me find it- Amarathine. I'm going to ask TOC to run a search on that.

03.40 - Well the search came up empty. I'll have Cyber Command do a more thorough-

-alright i'm on my way.

03:47 - I'll be moving to floor 2 now, there's nothing more here.
